Maths Reflection

In Maths We Have Been Learning To Do Trickier Division Problems . Here Is An Example Of What I Did :

                                   205 ÷ 5 = ?

        200 ÷ 5 = 40

        5 ÷5 = 1

       40 + 1 = 41

I Enjoyed This Task And Found It Very Easy . I would do it again but the questions wold have to be harder .

        

literacy reflection

In Literacy I have been researching Matariki . Some facts I have learn't are :

* Matariki means Little Eyes or Eyes Of God .

* Matariki drops behind the horizon in April and reappears in June .

* Matariki is a time for giving thanks to the land, sea & sky.

*Ten years ago New Zealanders didn't know much about Matariki !

I enjoyed this task and found it fun, it was interesting gathering the information.

Writing reflection

In writing I have been creating my own superhero and learning to use paragraphs.To be successful in this task I have to :
* Write in paragraphs .
* Use decriptive words.
* Use a plan . 

I enjoyed this task but I had a little difficulty with sequencing my ideas , because I didn't have much on my plan .Next time I know I need to do a better plan.

Maths Reflection

 In maths I have to work a bit on my times tables and large division.
I enjoy this activity because there are a range of questions . I also found this quite easy and I am pretty successful in this. 

My Writing reflection

In writing I have been  doing descriptive writing. I have found this fun because I like writing. :) To be successful in this activity I had to:
 1) Use descriptive words / Figurative language - metaphors , similes , personification .
 2) Write in first person.
 3) Write in present tense.
